WeEn Semiconductors Co., Ltd was incorporated on August 5, 2015.
WeEn's global footprint includes wholly-owned subsidiaries and centers in Jilin, north east China (Front-End Fabrication), Hong Kong (Warehouse and Distribution), Shanghai, and Manchester, United Kingdom (Research and Development), as well as cities across the world (Sales Offices and Customer Service Access ).
WeEn Semiconductors Co., Ltd opened new in-house reliability and failure analysis laboratory in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province, China, in September 2018.
WeEn as a key player has focused on developing a wide and deep portfolio of industry-leading power products, including Silicon Carbide Power Devices, Silicon Controlled Rectifiers and Triacs, standard and fast recovery Power Diodes, TVS and ESD protection Devices, and IGBTs and modules, with a history of over 50 years in semiconductor development and manufacturing.
Telecommunications, computers, consumer electronics, intelligent home appliances, lighting, automotive, and power management applications all employ all of these products. WeEn Semiconductors NXP
Following regulatory approval, NXP Semiconductors N.V. (NASDAQ:NXPI) and Beijing JianGuang Asset Management Co. Ltd (JAC Capital) today announced that the transaction to form a Bipolar Power joint venture (JV) WeEn Semiconductors in China has been completed. On February 19, 2015, the intention to form this JV was first disclosed.
WeEn combines NXP's superior technology from its Bipolar Power business line with JAC Capital's strong contacts in China's production network and distribution channels to reduce manufacturing costs and increase profit margins for high-end electronic devices. WeEn is 51 percent owned by JAC Capital and the rest is owned by NXP.
