Buffers, Drivers, Receivers, TransceiversBuffers, drivers, receivers, and transceivers are types of integrated circuits (ICs) that are used in digital communication systems. Buffers are used to isolate one circuit from another, and to prevent the loading effect, where one circuit affects the operation of another. Drivers are used to increase the current or voltage of a digital signal, in order to drive a load, such as a motor or a display. Receivers are used to receive and demodulate digital signals, while transceivers are used to both transmit and receive digital signals. These ICs typically include amplifiers, filters, and other circuits that are used to process the incoming and outgoing signals, and to convert them into a form that can be used by other components in the system.
