Direct Digital Synthesis (DDS)An integrated circuit (IC), also known as a microchip or chip, is a tiny piece of semiconductor material that contains a large number of transistors and other components that are etched onto its surface. These components are connected together to form circuits that can perform a variety of functions, such as amplifying, filtering, or switching signals.
