Memory - ModulesMemory modules are small, self-contained circuit boards that contain one or more memory chips, such as dynamic random-access memory (DRAM) or static random-access memory (SRAM). Memory modules are used in computers and other electronic devices to provide additional memory capacity, allowing the device to store more data and perform more complex operations. Memory modules are available in a variety of formats, including dual in-line memory modules (DIMMs) for desktop computers and small outline DIMMs (SODIMMs) for laptops and other small form factor devices. Memory modules are often identified by their capacity (e.g. 4 GB, 8 GB, 16 GB) and their type (e.g. DDR3, DDR4), and may include additional features such as error correction or heat spreaders to improve their performance and reliability.
