PTC Resettable FusesA PTC (positive temperature coefficient) resettable fuse is a type of circuit protection device that is used to protect electronic circuits from damage due to overcurrent or overvoltage. PTC resettable fuses are commonly used in a variety of applications, including consumer electronics, automotive systems, and industrial equipment.
PTC resettable fuses are different from traditional fuses in that they are designed to automatically reset after the overcurrent or overvoltage condition has been corrected. This means that the circuit will not need to be manually reset or replaced after a fault has occurred. PTC resettable fuses are typically made from a conductive polymer that exhibits a positive temperature coefficient of resistance.
