Pushbutton Switches - Hall EffectSwitches are devices that are used to control the flow of electricity in a circuit. Pushbutton switches are a type of switch that is activated by pressing a button. Hall effect switches are a subcategory of pushbutton switches that use the Hall effect, which is a phenomenon that occurs when a magnetic field is applied to a conductor, to activate the switch. In a Hall effect switch, the button activates a magnet, which in turn produces a magnetic field that is detected by a Hall effect sensor.
