Thermal - Thermoelectric, Peltier ModulesThermoelectric, or Peltier, modules are devices that use the Peltier effect to create a temperature difference between the two sides of the module. The Peltier effect occurs when an electric current is passed through a circuit containing two different types of conductive materials, resulting in heat being transferred from one side of the circuit to the other. By carefully controlling the flow of current through a Peltier module, it is possible to either cool or heat an object that is in contact with it. This makes Peltier modules useful for a variety of applications, such as cooling electronic components or creating portable cooling devices.
