According to the BIS official website of the U.S. Department of Commerce recently, the Materials and Equipment Technical Advisory Committee will meet at 10:00 am EST on November 17, 2022 at Carroll Avenue, Tacoma Park, Maryland, USA. The Committee advises the Office of the Assistant Secretary-General for Export Administration on technical issues affecting the level of export controls applicable to materials and related technologies.
The meeting agenda includes discussion of matters determined to be exempt from the provisions of Sections 210(a)(1) and 10(a)(3) of Appendix 5, United States Code, with respect to public meetings.
Pursuant to Section 10(d) of the Federal Advisory Committee Act, as amended under Title 210(d) of Appendix 5 to the United States Code, the portion of the meeting that involves pre-decision changes to the Commerce Control List and U.S. Export Control Policy shall be exempt from Comply with 2 10(a)(1) and 10(a)(3) of Appendix 5 of the United States Code regarding public meetings. The rest of the meeting will be open to the public.
