SK hynix DDR5 and CXL solutions are validated by AMD EPYC 9004 series processors

SK hynix has announced that its DRAM and CXL solutions have been validated with AMD EPYC 9004 series processors. SK hynix has worked closely with AMD to provide a fully compatible memory solution for 4th Gen AMD EPYC processors.

Built on the new SP5 socket, 4th Gen AMD EPYC processors offer innovative technologies and features, including support for advanced DDR5 and CXL 1.1+ memory expansion.

SK hynix 1ynm, 1anm 16Gb DDR5 and 1anm 24Gb DDR5 DRAM support 4800Mbps on 4th Gen AMD EPYC processors, providing up to 50% higher memory bandwidth than DDR4 products.

SK hynix also offers the CXL storage solution, a 96GB product consisting of 1anm-based 24Gb DDR5 DRAM. SK hynix hopes to achieve high customer satisfaction with this product through flexible bandwidth configuration and cost-effective capacity expansion.
