DIY Bluetooth Upgrade for JVC UX2000 Speaker

If you are looking for a small speaker with good sound quality to listen to old songs, light music, or similar genres, and you want something with a compact and affordable design that meets your audio needs, then this modified JVC UX2000 combination speaker with wireless Bluetooth may be suitable for you.

The JVC UX2000 combination speaker is reasonably priced and has a good design, but if it's placed or used for a long time, the speaker may sound muffled. You can choose to replace it yourself.

However, finding a suitable size for this speaker is not easy, and the original speaker is too expensive. But you can purchase a 3-inch speaker and grind a notch in one corner of the screw hole, fix it with a gasket, and test the sound quality. It will be much clearer and completely meet your expectations.

If you want to add Bluetooth music playback functionality, it's also possible to modify it. Nowadays, there are many Bluetooth modules available, and you can use one of them.

This Bluetooth module has the feature of automatically switching to Bluetooth music playback when connected to Bluetooth, and it switches back to AUX input when Bluetooth is turned off. This way, you can modify any AUX port of your speaker to include Bluetooth.

The following are the modified images:

To use it as a Bluetooth power supply, you can use the amplifier's power source.

The AUX input is located in the upper right corner, and the input interface and circuit are connected by wire. You can remove the wire (otherwise, you'll have to separate the circuit), and connect the input and output of the Bluetooth module. It's relatively easy and convenient to modify.

The circuit only removes two wires, and there are no other unnecessary additions besides the Bluetooth module and the Bluetooth power module. If you have the same speaker and know how to use a soldering iron, modifying it to include Bluetooth will be even smoother.
