Navitas Semiconductor is set to showcase its expanded range of GaN and SiC power products at the European PCIM 2023 conference in Nuremberg, Germany from May 9th to 11th. The event will provide a platform for the company to introduce and demonstrate its latest developments in electronic components.
Some of the highlights of the showcase will include Navitas' GaNFast power IC, which integrates power, sensing, and control functions into a single device, and GeneSiC-SiC semiconductor products that are optimized for reliable operation in harsh environments and high-power designs. These products represent the next generation of GaN and SiC power conversion and fast charging solutions that could reduce global CO2 emissions by up to 600 million tons annually before 2050.
Alessandro Squeri, Navitas' Senior Director of European Sales, said that PCIM is a crucial event in the power electronics calendar. He believes that the company's demonstrations, papers, and group discussions will provide valuable insights into the future of GaN and SiC power products and how they can be used to provide power conversion and fast charging solutions.
During the conference, Navitas will participate in various sessions, including Industrial Applications Director Alfred Hesener's presentation on GaN power IC drive efficiency and size improvements in brushless DC motor drive applications. Strategic Marketing Director Tom Ribarich will showcase Navitas' GaN power ICs, which can be used to achieve 300cc 700kHz 300W AC-DC converters, and Senior Applications Manager Bin Li will discuss the use of GaN power ICs for CRPS application planar transformer high-frequency, high-efficiency LLC modules.
Stephen Oliver, Navitas' Vice President of Marketing and Investor Relations, will participate in two group discussions: the first on the design of GaN HEMT and vertical GaN wide-bandgap devices, and the second on the reliability and quality requirements of SiC and GaN power devices. Overall, Navitas' participation in the PCIM 2023 conference will offer electronic components distributors an excellent opportunity to learn about the latest advancements in GaN and SiC power products and how they can help meet the evolving needs of the industry.
