DIY 86-Type Wall Panel Charger: Fast Charging & Clock Screensaver
The DIY 86-type wall panel multifunctional charger offers a cost-effective and versatile solution for all your charging needs. With USB fast charging, an analog clock screensaver, and a perfectly sized color display, it's a convenient addition to any wall panel.
Main functions:
1. USB fast charging: using the IP6505T fast charging solution, with a simple and inexpensive circuit.
2. Accumulated battery capacity in mAh: range [0-65536mAh], long press the button to reset.
3. Analog clock screensaver: enters screensaver mode after being idle or charging for a certain period, displaying an analog clock.
4. 128128 color screen display: the screen size matches perfectly with the 86 panel, as it shouldn't be too big to fit.
5. Switching between charging, screensaver, and screen-off modes: can be manually switched with buttons or automatically switched after a timeout.
6. Touch buttons: can switch display modes, reset accumulated battery capacity, and adjust time/date (adjustment method explained in the 148th floor).
Shortcomings:
1. Inconvenient installation, the power module is too large to be installed in the same 86 junction box, so it can only be placed in a nearby socket junction box.
2. Only has voltage and current measurement functions, lacks protection mechanisms (e.g., failure of the fast charging chip may cause excessively high output voltage).
