DIY Power Supply Upgrade: Adjust Voltage to 24V

The power supply is rated at 16.5V and 85W. By adding a resistor, the voltage can be adjusted to 24V.

A 2.8kΩ resistor should be soldered in the R15 position.

You will need to prepare a 2.8kΩ 0805 resistor.

Replace the 25V rated capacitor with a 35V solid-state capacitor. Although the capacity is reduced by half, the filtering capability is still more than sufficient.

After conducting a power-on test, there were no explosions, and the voltage was appropriate.

Once assembled in the enclosure, which is made of aluminum, you will also need a T12. The bottom of the box is insulated with a layer of qingke paper.

The assembly process went smoothly; the front panel is slightly oversized, but it doesn't affect functionality.

After plugging in the handle, everything operates normally, and the work is complete.
