If you're interested in converting a fan to charge via Type-C, you might want to check out this article.
The fan that needs modification is similar to the one shown below.
How do you go about converting the fan to a Type-C charging port and upgrading the battery?
First, you can cut the support pillar and install it from the top, as the battery won't fit otherwise. You can use a φ32 flange, which is a good fit. Then, convert it to a Type-C charging port and upgrade the battery to 8000mAh*3. Three batteries will fit perfectly with the thickness of the base.
For charging, connect two 4056 chips in parallel. You can also replace the motor wires. If the original ones are too thin, you can upgrade them to 0.75mm ones.
Using the same method, you can also modify small plug-in fans and fit three 4000mAh phone batteries. If it has a button, you could even replace it with a touch version.
And that's it!
