If you're interested in modifying a lithium battery brushless vacuum cleaner, you might want to check out this article.
When changing a vacuum, you still need to find a slightly bigger casing, like the one shown below—it looks like a hair dryer.
This one gives off a burning smell from the motor within five or six seconds of turning on, and the wires are the cheapest aluminum ones. So basically, you only need to use the casing.

If the brushless motor comes with a built-in driver, it will make your later modifications a lot easier.

Next, you need to grind off the two mounting ears on the brushless motor.

Inside, there are aluminum fan blades, so you need to stick a ring of black foam around them.

If there's still a bit of gap from the front air inlet, then you need to cut a piece of PVC board and attach black foam to prevent air leaks.

This brushless motor fits perfectly into the two grooves of the casing's wiring slots. Once you install the casing and tighten the screws, it will be very secure.

You need to use three 18650 batteries to make a 12.6V pack to drive the motor. The handle can only fit two cells, so you have to fix the third one at the air outlet position. Reportedly, this motor can reach a speed of 21,650 RPM while drawing only 1.8A.

Then, you need to change the original output hole into a balanced charging port.

The pins are exposed here, so to prevent short circuits, you should plug in an empty connector.

After the modification, the suction is still pretty good. Done.
