If you just happen to have a section of unused stainless-steel door handle tube, and you also have two small motors with a maximum outer diameter of 33.5mm, high torque, and a 5mm shaft, then you might come up with the idea of building a small electric grinder, and this stainless-steel tube can be used as the housing of the grinder.
You first prepare a section of stainless-steel door handle tube with an inner diameter of 36mm.

Install a 5.5x2.5 DC power socket at the rear end.

The coupling is a 5mm B10 copper sleeve paired with a Czech B10 collet chuck. The copper sleeve is an interference fit, and you can first heat it in oil to over 200°C, which allows it to slide easily onto the motor shaft.

After you complete the preparation work above, the rest becomes much simpler: add suitable inner lining and assemble the tube.

Try it out first, and you will find it works quite well.

Your small electric grinder is now finished.
