DIY Small Automatic Punch: Easy Mini Tool Build

If you happen to have a discarded marker pen, a steel nail (a 2mm diameter nail), and a broken lighter, then you can make a small automatic punch.

First, you remove the high-voltage generator from the lighter.

Then you cut and smooth the side with the wires using a knife, and set it aside for later use.

Next, you remove the cap of the marker pen and keep it aside, then pull out the pen tip, and cut the pen tip and pen barrel into sections as shown.

Then you take two of those sections and recombine them.

After assembling them into one piece, you remove the ink refill.

Then you insert the steel nail to replace the ink refill.

After that, you place the high-voltage generator inside the pen cap.

Finally, you assemble the pen tip and pen cap into a single unit.

It is completed, and the process is relatively simple, although the impact force is quite small.
