If you are interested in a DIY mini electric saw, you might want to take a look at this article.
If you happen to have a 6mm shaft direct-drive small motor, you want to add a 10mm non-powered main shaft to it, and then add a stainless steel outer casing and a shaft protection baffle on the housing. Once all the materials are ready, you can start building it yourself.

First, you need to measure and mark the lines.

You should cut away the excess parts, and you need to carve grooves at the places that need to be bent.

Then you can use flat-nose pliers to clamp and bend it.

For the parts that need drilling, after you finish shaping the bend, you can mark the hole positions and drill the holes.

Then you will use the following materials: a 10mm main shaft, S3M tooth profile, and a 180mm long, 6mm wide timing belt.

Install the shaft protection and dust shield.

Install the motor.

Install the outer casing and the rear connector (5.5×2.5) DC jack.

Put the cover on and try fitting it.

The mini electric saw can cut through a 1mm stainless steel plate as easily as breathing, and you can make an 8-shaped hole adapter that converts to a dual plug connector.

Finished.
