NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Price Tops $10,000, Reaches 4,000 AI TOPS

According to recent market updates, NVIDIA’s fastest flagship professional GPU, the RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell, has seen a sharp price increase, with retail pricing now exceeding US$10,000—significantly higher than its launch-level pricing just a few months ago.

Built on the Blackwell architecture and equipped with 96GB of GDDR7 ECC memory, the RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell remains one of the most powerful AI-focused professional GPUs available today. It is designed for high-end workloads such as AI training, large-scale inference, and advanced graphics computing, positioning it at the top tier of NVIDIA’s professional lineup.

In terms of specifications, the RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell features 24,064 CUDA cores, approximately 10.5% more than the 21,760 cores found in the GeForce RTX 5090. It also integrates 752 Tensor Cores and 188 RT Cores, delivering up to 125 TFLOPS of FP32 compute performance and as much as 4,000 AI TOPS of AI acceleration capability.

When it was first introduced, the RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell was priced at around US$8,000. However, pricing has steadily climbed over recent months, approaching the US$10,000 mark and, in some cases, surpassing it depending on configuration and availability.

Current market listings reflect this upward trend. NVIDIA’s official store shows the product out of stock, with a listed price of US$8,900 for remaining configurations such as the Max-Q variant. Some major online listings place the GPU at around US$9,449, while workstation/server editions have already exceeded US$10,000. Certain high-end retail listings have reached as high as US$11,500, making it one of the most expensive professional GPUs currently available.

In contrast, the consumer-grade GeForce RTX 5090 has also experienced price inflation, now starting around US$4,000, with many third-party offers exceeding US$6,000. Although still available in the market, its elevated pricing has significantly reduced accessibility for enthusiasts.

Despite the steep costs, demand from AI and professional computing users remains strong. For many AI workloads, the RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell continues to justify its premium positioning, especially when compared to consumer GPUs that still cost roughly half as much while offering lower memory capacity and reduced workstation-optimized features.
