DIY Dish Cabinet Sterilizer with Ozone Generator

Suppose you happen to have an unused water dispenser. After taking it apart, you find a sterilization component inside. At this moment, you suddenly come up with the idea of making a dish and cabinet sterilizer. Fortunately, if you also have a timer from an electric fan and a switch cable from an electric blanket, you can try making an ozone generator.

First, you need to disassemble the sterilization component.

Inside the glass tube, there is a straight wire, and the outside of the tube is surrounded by a metal mesh. The straight wire and the metal mesh are separately connected to the circuit board with wires.

Then, you connect the timer and the switch cable in series, and the modification is complete.

When powered on, you can hear a clicking sound coming from the glass tube, which indicates that the function should be working properly. You can adjust the timer and place the device inside the dish cabinet. After closing the cabinet door, connect the power supply or turn on the switch. In the darkness, you can see a blue light, which means the sterilization process is working.
