If you are interested in a DIY vertical mouse, you can check out this project.
If you happen to have an inphic wireless mouse with a faulty button, you may suddenly come up with the idea of making it into a vertical mouse. This design can help your hand relax and reduce discomfort caused by long-term use.

This mouse can still be recharged.

First, remove the mainboard.

Then, choose a suitable position and cut it in half.

Reconnect the two parts with wires. If you do not have flexible wires, you can use network cables instead, although they are a little stiff. Then replace the battery with a new one.

If you happen to have an empty yogurt cup, which is narrower at the bottom and wider at the top, you can use it as the mouse shell because it provides a comfortable grip.
If you have two limit switches available, you can use them to replace the original tactile buttons.

The scroll wheel should also be kept and installed at the position of your thumb.

The project is complete. This is the finished product, and it still feels quite comfortable to use.
