DIY Charging Desk Lamp with Lithium Battery

If you are interested in making a DIY charging desk lamp, you can check out this article.

If you happen to have a printer power supply casing with seven batteries installed inside;

And if you happen to have an IP5306 board for charging, which also comes with battery protection;

Suppose you also have a control board that supports touch long-press for power on/off and short-press switching between four brightness levels from off to the brightest setting. The board was originally designed to connect two sets of lights, but now only one channel is being used. The current capacity of the control transistor is also quite large, which makes it somewhat wasteful. You may find this board very practical, and by modifying the power input section, you can easily use it as a controller for a 12V lamp.

The LED chips are arranged in a 6-parallel configuration with a single series connection, which makes them very suitable for single-cell lithium battery power supply.

You can use adhesive thermal conductive glue to attach the heatsink. After the glue cures, it feels very strong, so there is no need to fix it with screws.

You can bend an iron wire into a bracket to secure it.

The actual performance is quite good, and the project is completed.
