Nanya Technology Revenue Soars 560.85% to Record High

According to Nanya Technology, the DRAM manufacturer announced on September 2 that its consolidated revenue for August 2026 reached NT$44.69 billion, marking a 1.88% increase from the previous month and a significant 560.85% surge year over year. The figure set a new monthly revenue record for the company.

Previously, Nanya Technology reported consolidated revenue of NT$43.868 billion in July 2026, representing a 49.27% month-on-month increase and a 719.61% year-over-year jump. With the addition of August revenue, the company’s cumulative revenue for the first eight months of 2026 totaled NT$220.194 billion, up 638.19% compared with the same period last year.

Nanya Technology General Manager Lee Pei-ying previously stated at an investor conference that strong AI demand is driving structural changes in the memory market’s supply and demand dynamics, reducing the impact of traditional industry cycles. Demand from AI-powered cloud data centers and general servers continues to expand, particularly for high-performance memory products such as HBM and RDIMM, while supply capacity for smartphones, PCs, automotive applications, and consumer memory products is being squeezed.

Lee noted that memory supply shortages are expected to continue for multiple quarters, while long-term agreements (LTAs) are helping establish greater visibility and stability between supply and demand.

On the supply side, Lee explained that memory manufacturers are actively expanding production capacity and adjusting product portfolios to increase the proportion of higher-margin products. These capacity expansion plans will be guided by customers’ long-term LTA requirements, with additional production capacity expected to gradually come online from 2028.

The company expects the ongoing AI infrastructure boom to remain a key growth driver for the memory industry, accelerating demand for advanced DRAM technologies and reshaping future market supply strategies.
