The accessory is very simple and consists of a power strip, a plug, banana plugs, and wires. First, you should wire the power strip according to the standard connection method. You can use 2 × 2.5 mm² wire for the main power line. You can use 1 mm² wire for the ground connection and route two separate ground wires, with one connected to the ground terminal of the plug and the other connected to an alligator clip for situations where no ground connection is available. When wiring, you should pay attention to the neutral and live wires and make sure they are connected correctly, which can improve safety during maintenance.
Next, you should disconnect the live wire and connect it to the banana plug. You should preferably use a high-power banana plug because it provides better safety and reliability.
You can tin all the wire ends before securing them, and you can use 704 silicone sealant to secure all the bending points. Once you have completed these steps, the DIY accessory is finished.
