Shenzhen SI Semiconductors Co., Ltd. is jointly founded by Shenzhen SEG Group Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Xunjie Investment Co., Ltd. and Shenzhen Capital Co., Ltd., specializing in the production of power semiconductor devices. The company was established in 1988 as a Sino-US joint venture and gradually evolved into state ownership. In 2010 it completed ownership restructuring and became a public company in 2015. Being a high-tech enterprise capable of designing, manufacturing, and marketing, the company is a major supplier of power semiconductor devices in China.
The company has a base of 107000 square meters in Shenzhen for the production of power semiconductor devices and currently employs about 950 people. It is the sole manufacturer of semiconductor devices in Shenzhen with both front end and back end capacity. Through years' efforts, by taking advantage of its geographical location and making use of its specialty to extremes, the company has achieved considerable success in China's semiconductor market. Its leading products such as bipolar power transistors, power MOSFETs, LED Drivers are very popular with domestic customers and have entered overseas market in large quantities.
In its nearly 30 years' history, the company has won various awards, some of which are: State High-tech Enterprise, 300 Enterprises with the Greatest Growth Potential, Nation's Demonstration Projects of High-tech Industrialization, Benchmark of Independent Innovation of Guangdong Province in 2011, Top 100 Enterprises of Shenzhen in Quality, Top 5 Power Semiconductor Manufacturers of China for the Year 2016. It has a municipal-level CTC (Corporate Technology Center), and is also managing a municipal government funded laboratory for power semiconductor technology.
