The metaverse world will come, from AR/VR to metaverse, semiconductor Technology needs to be improved tenfold.
Zhang Xiaoqiang said that the metaverse is defined as the fusion of the real world and the virtual world. Turning the metaverse into reality requires more semiconductors, which requires more powerful and efficient computing, and the requirements for advanced semiconductor technology are getting higher and higher.
Zhang Xiaoqiang pointed out that the current head-mounted device application processor adopts 7nm process, the image signal processor adopts 28nm process, and the Wi-FI chip adopts 16nm RF process. Both the processor and the image signal processor will use 2nm, and the Wi-Fi chip will also use a 4nm RF process.
