According to David Hägerbro, Ericsson's Head of Bangladesh, Malaysia, and Sri Lanka, 5G will transform enterprise operations, and working with Intel can expand the application depth of 5G in Malaysia and drive the country's digital transformation. AK Chong, Intel Malaysia's Head, stated that 5G is becoming a necessary element in driving innovation across various business sectors. By using digital solutions based on Intel and Ericsson technologies, Malaysian enterprises can accelerate their digital transformation and business development.

The Malaysian government has established Digital Nasional, a state-owned enterprise, to focus on deploying and managing Malaysia's 5G network.
