September 15, 2023 - STMicroelectronics is proud to introduce the TSZ181H1, an automotive-grade operational amplifier, and the TSZ181H1 automotive-grade dual operational amplifier, engineered to offer exceptional precision and stability across an extended temperature range of -40°C to 175°C. This expanded operating range positions these devices as ideal solutions for challenging environmental conditions and prolonged usage scenarios.

Unprecedented Precision and Stability

The TSZ181H1 and TSZ181H1-Automotive feature ultra-low input offset voltage, with a mere 3.5μV at 25°C, and an input bias current of just 30pA at 25°C. Remarkably, these parameters exhibit minimal temperature drift, with the input offset voltage peaking at 70μV at 25°C and remaining stable at 100μV across the entire temperature spectrum. Similarly, the maximum input bias current is rated at 200pA at 25°C and 225pA over the full temperature range.

Versatile for Demanding Applications

The broad operating temperature range of TSZ181H1 and TSZ182H1 makes them exceptionally adaptable for industrial and automotive applications, especially in scenarios where lower chip temperatures can significantly extend the device's operational lifespan. These amplifiers conform to the rigorous AEC-Q100 automotive electronic standard and possess an impressive 4kV HBM ESD electrostatic discharge tolerance.

In the realm of high-precision, high-bandwidth sensor interfaces, TSZ181H1 and TSZ182H1 exhibit outstanding performance characteristics, making them ideal for precise signal conditioning without the need for calibration. With a gain bandwidth of 3MHz and an operating current of only 1mA at 5V, they offer an outstanding speed-to-power ratio. Additionally, the wide power supply voltage range of 2.2V to 5.5V, along with rail-to-rail input and output, maximizes the available dynamic range.
