The STM32H573I-DK Discovery Kit enables developers to harness the full potential of the STM32H5 MCU, offering access to an array of integrated features. These include analog peripherals, timers, the ST ART (Adaptive Real-Time) accelerator™, media interfaces, and mathematical accelerators. With these capabilities, developers can explore innovative designs for industrial programmable logic controllers (PLCs), motor control systems, as well as intelligent control solutions for household appliances like air conditioners, refrigerators, and washing machines. The versatility of this kit extends to applications such as alarm systems, communication hubs, and smart lighting control.
The STM32H573I-DK Discovery Kit is a versatile development platform, featuring the STM32H5 microcontroller, a vibrant color touchscreen, a digital microphone, and a comprehensive set of networking interfaces, including USB, Ethernet, and Wi-Fi®. Additional features include an audio codec, flash memory, and header pins for connecting expansion modules and peripherals.
For the convenience of developers, the STM32CubeH5 MCU software package seamlessly integrates all the essential software components required for application development on the STM32H5 MCU. This comprehensive package includes code examples and application code, all integrated within the STM32Cube ecosystem, which also offers supplementary software tools for application development. Simplifying the development process further, STMicroelectronics provides the MCU configuration and initialization tool, STM32CubeMX.
The STM32H5 MCU, unveiled in March 2023, boasts a robust feature set, including a high-performance Arm® Cortex®-M33 embedded processor core clocked at 250MHz. It stands as the pioneering MCU from STMicroelectronics to incorporate the ST Secure Manager system-on-chip security solution. This MCU seamlessly blends Arm TrustZone® security technology with STMicroelectronics' STM32Trust trusted framework, empowering developers with secure storage, encryption, authentication, and update capabilities. Notably, it embeds a hardware encryption accelerator with side-channel protection, earning industry-recognized security certifications, including PSA Certified Level 3 and GlobalPlatform SESIP3.
STMicroelectronics not only offers the STM32H573I-DK Discovery Kit but also provides practical examples demonstrating the utilization of security services.
