This groundbreaking solution broadens the spectrum of available electronic components. The MX60 seamlessly integrates miniaturized millimeter-wave RF transceivers and built-in antennas into a compact package. Utilizing low-power, high-speed solid-state components, it facilitates swift and effortless device-to-device communication, eliminating the need for physical cables or connectors. As a result, the MX60 solution offers unparalleled design flexibility, flawless device pairing, and enhanced communication reliability, catering to applications such as video displays, sleek consumer electronics, industrial robots, and devices operating in challenging environments.

The MX60 series is built on its distinctive wireless chips and a portfolio of over 350 patented technologies, with core technology and intellectual property originating from Keyssa, a forerunner in high-speed non-contact connectivity acquired by Molex in 2021. These patented technologies enable data transmission speeds ranging from 1 to 5.4 Gbps in the 60GHz frequency range, impervious to interference from Wi-Fi or Bluetooth signals.

Initial MX60 series models replace traditional DisplayPort, Gigabit Ethernet connectors, and USB super-speed connectors, significantly reducing development timelines, costs, and associated risks. The inclusion of re-timers optimizes signal integrity at higher data rates. Furthermore, Molex is actively developing solutions that incorporate USB2 and other low-speed interfaces to further enhance space efficiency.
