AMD MI300 Series: AI Server Market Debut Next Month

On November 16th, AMD officially announced its upcoming "Advancing AI" event scheduled for early December. The event will mark the launch of AMD's highly anticipated "Instinct MI300" series of AI chips, positioning the company as a key player in the rapidly evolving AI landscape. Industry analysts foresee significant opportunities for AMD's supply chain partners, including TSMC, ASMedia, Chipbond, Foxconn, and Pegatron, to capitalize on the burgeoning AI market.

AMD's proactive approach to seizing AI business opportunities is underscored by the strategic significance of the MI300 series. AMD CEO Su Zifeng envisions substantial growth, projecting the global data center AI accelerator market to reach $150 billion by 2027. The MI300 series, comprising the MI300A and MI300X chips, is poised to play a pivotal role in AMD's AI strategy.
