On January 22nd, with the official launch of the Samsung Galaxy S24 series featuring the Exynos 2400 processor, details about the upcoming Exynos 2500 have surfaced. According to reports from reputable sources, insiders have disclosed that the forthcoming Exynos 2500 will boast a 10-core CPU cluster, incorporating Arm's latest Cortex-X5 super core.

As revealed in the available information, the Exynos 2500 will depart from a four Cortex-X core configuration to avoid potential power consumption challenges. Instead, it will adhere to the established 1+2+3+4 ten-core four-cluster CPU architecture. Notably, the Exynos 2500 will introduce the Cortex-X5 super core and Cortex-A730 big core, promising a performance enhancement compared to the Cortex-X4 and Cortex-A720 present in the Exynos 2400.

Expect the Cortex-X5 core frequency of the Exynos 2500 to remain within a range comparable to the previous Cortex-X4, testing between 3.20GHz and 3.30GHz, as indicated by the exposed information. Additionally, the Exynos 2500 is anticipated to feature two Cortex-A730 clusters operating at different clock speeds, mirroring the design of the Exynos 2400. Details about the frequencies of the low-power Cortex-A520 cores have not been disclosed.

Regarding the manufacturing process, the Exynos 2500 is likely to adopt Samsung's cutting-edge 3nm process, a milestone not yet applied to any smartphone or tablet chipsets.
