New iPad Air/Pro Launch: May Production Rush

According to industry insiders, Apple's overseas partners are currently accelerating production of the latest iPad models, aiming for a heightened output and a scheduled release in May this year.

With no iPad updates from Apple in 2023, anticipation is high for the expected releases this year, notably the iPad Air and iPad Pro. Insiders have confirmed that these upcoming models will mark significant advancements, including the introduction of a 12.9-inch display for the iPad Air and the incorporation of OLED technology in the iPad Pro.

The prolonged absence of updates in the iPad series, spanning 18 months, has set a record in Apple's history, coinciding with a noticeable decline in quarterly iPad sales.

Despite inquiries, Apple has chosen not to comment on the matter.

Leaks suggest that the new iPad Pro models, identified by their codenames J717, J718, J720, and J721, will feature the latest M3 chips. Additionally, consumers can anticipate the release of new accessories such as the Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil.

Previous reports hinted at Apple's plans for an April product release, but industry experts speculate that the delay may be attributed to the technical intricacies involved in integrating OLED displays.

Apple enthusiasts can look forward to the WWDC (Worldwide Developers Conference) scheduled for June 10, where Apple is expected to unveil its latest innovations in artificial intelligence (AI) and software updates across various product lines.
