DIY DC-DC Power for Network Devices

Standard household network devices typically use power supplies of 9V or 12V. If you have numerous devices, using individual power adapters for each one can take up a lot of space. Therefore, it's practical to simplify the setup. With today's highly advanced DC-DC converter modules, you can easily create a compact device to power multiple "electrical units."

The 9V output uses the LM2596S module.

The 5V USB output uses the MP1584EN module.

Power Input:

The main power source is a 12V optical modem, with a 9V power supply for the gigabit switch. Other network devices also use 12V. The 5V USB output is used for online charging of cash register equipment and powering cooling fans.

Measured current does not exceed 800mA.
