DIY USB Module for UT61E Multimeter

Version 1: Simple Circuit

Due to space constraints, we use surface-mount infrared emitters and receivers. The Micro USB port is designed to be a recessed, reversed mount for further thinning.

Version 2: Slightly More Complex Circuit

The surface-mount infrared emitters are reversed, and some protective components are added. You can choose not to install these if you prefer. By default, the infrared emitter is disconnected since it doesn’t serve a practical purpose unless the multimeter is modified.

The board for Version 2 is compatible with standard infrared components but requires slightly larger holes. Additionally, the shell needs minor adjustments for better assembly.
