You can also set different temperatures: for soldering wires, you can adjust it to 400 degrees, while regular soldering can be set to 320 degrees.
In practical tests, using a C4 tip to solder a 4mm² wire is very smooth and much faster than using a soldering station. At home, you can just plug it into a laptop power supply, and when you're outside, you can connect it directly to a power drill battery.
