According to Videocardz, Intel’s upcoming "Battlemage" discrete GPU is scheduled for release on December 3, with shipments set to begin on December 12. With only a few days to go, Intel plans to initially launch the Arc Battlemage B580 and B570 models, a move that has been confirmed by AIB partners.
In line with its strategy during the Arc GPU launch, Intel will also introduce an exclusive "limited edition" version, echoing the approach taken for its previous GPU launch events. Additionally, a review embargo will lift in mid-December, coinciding with the beginning of actual product shipments. Notably, Intel will enforce a separate sales restriction for its "limited edition" models, with sales bans lifting on December 12. Custom AIB variants will be available for review starting December 13, allowing Intel’s exclusive models to take center stage and boost initial sales.
Details on other potential variants remain unclear. It’s speculated that higher-end models might be introduced later in 2024, though this has not been officially confirmed. The announcement follows the appearance of the Intel Arc Battlemage B580 GPU on various online platforms, including Geekbench and multiple retailers.
The expected retail price for the B580 GPU is between $250 and $260, positioning it as an affordable option within Intel's GPU lineup.
Intel Arc Battlemage B580 Key Specs:
· Memory: 12GB GDDR6 (192-bit)
· GPU: Battlemage BMG-G21 (20 Xe cores)
· Architecture: Intel Xe2-HPG
· Max Boost Clock: 2850 MHz

While details on the B570 remain limited, it is likely to be a lower-tier variant of the B580, potentially replacing the Arc A570 in Intel's lineup.
