MediaTek Revenue Hits NT$45.2B, Up 5.04% YoY

MediaTek recently announced its consolidated revenue for November, totaling NT$45.242 billion, marking a month-over-month decline of 11.49% but a year-over-year growth of 5.04%. Cumulatively, MediaTek's revenue for the first 11 months of 2024 reached NT$488.902 billion, reflecting a significant 25.43% increase compared to the same period last year.

According to reports, the strong performance of MediaTek's flagship chips has effectively mitigated the negative impact of slowing demand for end-user devices. Industry experts highlighted that with uncertainties surrounding potential U.S. policy changes under the incoming administration, manufacturers in mainland China are stockpiling inventory as a precautionary measure. This trend is expected to benefit Taiwan's IC design companies, including MediaTek.

Based on MediaTek's financial forecast, fourth-quarter consolidated revenue is projected to range between NT$126.5 billion and NT$134.5 billion, representing a quarter-over-quarter variation from a 4% decline to a 2% increase. The company remains optimistic about its flagship products driving sustained operational growth.
