If you have an old, low-spec computer case lying around, you can repurpose its power supply for a desktop repair power source, and the hard drive can be used for a DIY electric grinder. But what about the case fan and the CPU fan? If you're curious, keep reading!
The CPU fan is typically a small fan, and it may not be big enough for modifying into a desktop fan. However, you can use the case's larger fan, which is the case fan, along with a bracket to modify it into a desktop fan.
Before starting the modification, you should remove the small fan. Use the original bracket and secure it with corner brackets, as shown in the diagram.
The bottom of the bracket has rubber tubes to help reduce vibration and noise, as shown in the image.
Once the setup is complete, here’s what the front of the modified fan will look like:
The DC plug used for the modified fan is shown in the image above.
For the small fan's power supply, you can also use one from a toy. Just make sure the power supply parameters match the ones shown in the image below.
