DIY Custom Electronic Bike Bell Switch

Because the electronic bell requires a higher current to operate, standard micro-switches aren't suitable. On the other hand, limit switches are too large and inconvenient for installation and use.

So, what should you do? You can take a plastic bottle cap and modify it by creating a button hole and zip tie mounting holes, and also add control wires.

You'll also need to cut a perforated board and use a phosphor bronze sheet (with small soldered column-shaped contacts) to fix it to the board with screws for the moving contact. For the stationary contact, you can use a copper soldering tab.

Next, connect the control wires to the back.

You can use an off-the-shelf button cap, so there's no need to DIY one yourself.

Finally, just secure everything to the handlebars with a zip tie. After testing, it fits perfectly.
