This collaboration encompasses the provision of 5G base stations, multiple input/output stations, and various wireless products, along with associated services such as installation, optimization, and maintenance.
Samsung Electronics expressed its commitment to providing state-of-the-art communication equipment to one of India's prominent wireless communication companies. Notably, Samsung has a track record in India, having established a nationwide 4G network for Reliance Jio, the country's leading mobile operator and the world's third-largest.
India presently stands as the world's second-largest wireless market, boasting approximately 1.1 billion users. This strategic partnership positions Samsung for significant growth in the 5G communication equipment sector in the coming year.
Bharti Airtel, founded in 1995, ranks as the world's fourth-largest and India's second-largest telecommunications operator, with a global user base of around 4.9 billion. Looking ahead, Samsung is poised to deliver complementary products for Airtel Group's 5G communication network, encompassing 5G base stations and multiple input/output communication stations. The collaboration extends to comprehensive services, including equipment installation, optimization, and maintenance.
