2025 Major Snow Arrives!

Additionally, admiring snow, walking through snow, and brewing tea around a stove are traditional leisurely activities during the Major Snow season.

On December 5th, the CEO of the American semiconductor company AMD stated that it had obtained permission from the U.S. government to export some MI 308 chips to China. On the same day, Intel announced an important strategic review decision: after a comprehensive evaluation, it decided to cancel the plan to spin off its network and edge business (NEX). The company believes that retaining this business, which generates annual revenue of $5.8 billion, internally will help strengthen its integration capabilities in chips, software, and systems within the fields of artificial intelligence, data centers, and edge computing.
Meanwhile, cooperation in the chip manufacturing sector is also advancing. UMC announced on December 5th that it had signed a memorandum of understanding with the specialized American foundry Polar Semiconductor to expand its 8-inch wafer manufacturing capacity in the United States.
