If you happen to have a 24V brushless DC motor and summer has just arrived, you might suddenly come up with the idea of using this motor to modify a Hongyun-style fan, and you can start the conversion once all the materials are ready.
If you just happen to have an aluminum sheet, you can use it to make a mounting bracket.

You remove the receiver module from the control board and install it at the position of the swing switch.

You modify the encoder with a built-in switch and install it at the original switch position of the fan.

You connect the motor leads to a ribbon cable so that you can easily disassemble and clean it later, and if you are worried about insufficient current capacity, you can connect two additional wires.

After you finish the wiring, you can prepare to install the fan blades.

Once completed, you will have a fully assembled unit that you can turn on and off remotely and adjust the speed steplessly, and the whole process is relatively simple.
