The difference between an original toner cartridge and a compatible refillable cartridge is right here: the compatible one already has a refill hole, so for the original one, you just need to add a hole.
If you just happen to have a hole punch tool and a rubber plug, then you can start making it yourself.
First, you polish the edges.
Then you drill the hole.
Clean up the debris, then polish it again.
The hole punch is 13, and the plug is 13.5, so the sizes match perfectly.
Reset it—this is a mechanical reset; you just need to return the lever to its original position.
Done. You can install it and test it, and it still works very well. In this way, you get a different kind of toner cartridge, and it is actually very simple.
