If you happen to have an AC-powered mini hot glue gun compatible with 7 mm glue sticks and plan to convert it into a DC-powered version, you may already have everything you need, including a WORX 20V battery, a completed 3D model of the battery connector, and some other miscellaneous accessories.
First, take a look at the finished product. The overall result looks quite impressive!

Modification Plan

1.For the heating element, use a 24V 20W low-voltage DC PTC heating element to directly replace the original 220V AC PTC heating element. Both heating elements have identical dimensions, so you can install the new one in the original position without making any additional modifications to the housing.
2.The original indicator light is a neon lamp. Replace it with an LED and use a 1K–1.5K current-limiting resistor. Make sure you pay attention to the LED's positive and negative polarity when wiring it.
3.Since the 20V 2Ah battery is relatively heavy, secure the battery connector module to the main body of the glue gun using four bolts to ensure a stable connection.

Your modification is now complete!
The glue gun nozzle is deliberately designed with a slight upward tilt to minimize glue dripping when you leave the gun resting idle.
