Ranked No. 1, TSMC Has 1,534 Patent Applications in 2022

The ranking of patent applications in Taiwan for 2022 was recently released by the Intellectual Property Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs in Taiwan, China. The top company in terms of the number of patent applications was Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co., Ltd. with 1,534 applications, all of them being invention patents. This was followed by Acer Co., Ltd. with 530 applications and AU Optronics Co., Ltd. with 505 applications.
