MediaTek Launches Dimensity 9500s & 8500
On January 15, 2026, MediaTek unveiled its latest mobile processors, the Dimensity 9500s and Dimensity 8500. These new additions to the Dimensity family inherit many of the flagship technologies from previous models, delivering standout performance, energy efficiency, AI capabilities, imaging, gaming, and wireless connectivity, giving a fresh boost to the high-end smartphone segment.
The Dimensity 9500s features a flagship 3nm process with a full-core architecture. Its octa-core CPU includes one Cortex-X925 ultra core reaching up to 3.73GHz, three Cortex-X4 ultra cores, and four Cortex-A720 cores. Combined with a large, high-speed cache and MediaTek's advanced scheduling engine, it ensures top-tier performance and energy efficiency.
Equipped with the Immortalis-G925 GPU, the Dimensity 9500s delivers smooth, high-frame-rate gaming for hardcore mobile gamers and esports enthusiasts. Its advanced ray-tracing support and Dimensity OMM tracing engine enhance graphics realism and detail, offering console-level lighting and reflection effects. With Dimensity's adaptive MAGT 3.0 technology and MFRC 3.0 frame-rate engine, the chip boosts energy efficiency in popular games and extends device battery life.
