Anthropic Annualized Revenue Surpasses $65 Billion

According to people familiar with the matter, Anthropic’s annualized revenue exceeded $65 billion by the end of July, highlighting the rapid growth of the Claude AI developer as it moves closer to a potential initial public offering later this year.

The latest annualized revenue figure, which projects full-year performance based on the company’s current sales pace, is up sharply from $47 billion in May and more than seven times the roughly $9 billion recorded at the end of 2025.

The sources said Anthropic has shared the latest figure with investors as part of its ongoing financial updates.

Anthropic is reportedly projecting revenue of approximately $190 billion to $200 billion in 2028, with its potential IPO valuation expected to depend heavily on these forecasts.

The company has emerged as a major player in the AI industry as its Claude coding agent gains popularity among developers. Its rapid expansion has also continued to attract significant investment from enterprise-focused investors.

Earlier this year, Anthropic confidentially filed for an IPO. The company and rival OpenAI are both moving toward public listings as strong investor demand for AI companies continues to drive interest in the sector.

Following its Series H funding round in May, Anthropic was valued at $96.5 billion, more than double its $38 billion valuation in February. The sharp increase underscores the company’s accelerating growth and rising market expectations ahead of a potential IPO.
